The Best is Yet To Come in Gatlinburg

I’ve been very transparent with my feelings lately. Some of it is good, some of it not so good. But the one thing I want to be totally clear about: I am happy here in Gatlinburg. I don’t think I could’ve written the things I wrote in some of my other posts without feeling an incredible amount of optimism. At times I’ve kept a lot of this positivity away from you, but again, I want to be clear that this is truly a great time to be alive. Let me delve into exactly what I mean. And to be honest, it won’t be 100% sunshine and rainbows, but let’s get real with the totality of it all.

Why do I say the best is yet to come? Well, most of it originates in my brain, and the rest lives in other people’s heads. I know where you think I might be going with this; however, there’s quite a bit to unpack. I’m stepping back from a few things while not compromising my happiness. Yes, this is still a work in progress. And as I hopefully will be able to explain this better, maybe you can understand.
