Sugarlands Celebrates a Sensational 10-Year Run of Roaming Man

Sugarlands Distilling Company in Gatlinburg added more honors and milestones to its already impressive Roaming Man Tennessee Rye Whiskey stash recently. They also added an exclusive, behind-the-scenes, hands-on opportunity for fans to get excited about.

First, let’s talk about the award. Roaming Man won two double gold medals at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Championship, which is widely considered the “World Series” of whiskey—my way of stressing its significance. The SFWSC recognizes globally renowned distilleries and growing small batch producers alike. Award-winners—such as Sugarlands—instantly gain respect and earn widespread credibility in the industry.

Roaming Man is no stranger to winning in this prestigious competition. They also won double gold in 2021 and 2023, marking this year as their fourth honor in just five years.

So it’s absolutely no surprise that Roaming Man is celebrating 10 years of excellence with the release of an extremely limited run of its new 10-year edition. You will only find this at their Gatlinburg distillery debuting May 21 and only in 375mL bottles. These special bottles contain whiskey from the first 4 barrels filled back in 2015.

And last but not certainly least is their exclusive Hidden Stave speakeasy-inspired area where guests can sample cocktails, sample a curated lineup of Roaming Man, and even fill their own bottle of the esteemed whiskey.

Entry into the Hidden Stave will be by reservation only. Admission is $20, but if you reserve a spot by August 19, 2025, the price is just $10. What this also involves is access to a full Roaming Man tasting experience, in addition to the experience of filling your bottle, and the intimate stage and environment where the whiskey can truly be enjoyed without outside disturbances.

I am not a whiskey connoisseur, but I’m a big fan of Roaming Man, which says a lot because rye whiskey is hit and miss with me. I think what they’re doing is nothing short of spectacular, and I have by no means been asked to sponsor their products. This is just flat-out honesty. I simply can’t wait to get my hands on—and pay for—their 10-Year Edition, and I also would love to get involved in their hands-on “Stash” I know I’ll love. If you’re a fan, I reckon you will too!
