Oakmont Lodge is the first I’d like to summarize. It is a 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom log cabin on 8 acres, located just minutes from the many activities in downtown Gatlinburg. A few of the countless things you’re sure to love about this cabin are its super-sized wrap-around deck, relaxing hot tub, and substantial recreation room full of hours-long fun and respite for the family, featuring a pool table and an arcade game for two on a Jack Daniels oak barrel.

The second new property in Mountain Laurel Chalets’ repertoire is the Four Ski-Sons Chalet. This is an aptly named cabin that mimics what you would find in a Colorado ski resort with its A-frame design and sprinkles of ski-themed furnishings that will only reinforce—and maybe confuse—your feeling of which side of the country you’re on… but will it really matter? Since Ober Mountain isn’t far away, you’ll still be right at home with your thoughts and comfort.
If you don’t need the space Oakmont Lodge gives you, it’s hard to find a better alternative. It’s a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom chalet that gives you the ultimate in privacy with its wooded setting, and also provides you views of the Ober tram and ski slopes. The decor is said to change with the season and has an eclectic mix of amenities that should please the young and old: foosball table, gaming loft, and ample outdoor space featuring a picnic area, just to name a few.
