Who loves the thrill of a good mountain coaster? Or maybe you’ve never ridden one, and are looking for an exciting new way to spend a small portion of your Smoky Mountain vacation! I am giving you, the subscriber, a chance to snag some free tickets to one of Gatlinburg’s very first mountain coasters. Read on to find out more details about this golden opportunity!
I am giving away 4 FREE! tickets to Moonshine Mountain Coaster, formerly Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster. Here’s what you need to do: First, you need to be a subscriber to A Gatlinburg NOW Publication—free or paid, it doesn’t matter. Next, you need to send me an email and write “Free Tickets For Me” in the description. You can either reply to this post or compose a new email—makes no difference to me.

I enjoy riding mountain coasters, but it’s not something I do often as a local. This one went through a re-brand, and while it was fun when I first rode it in 2015, I’m sure they’ve made it even better. It’s one of the first things you see when you enter Gatlinburg from the spur. It’s just past light #1 on the left hand side. And what’s even better is they offer free parking, but don’t leave it and walk off into town. You will get towed. Make sure when you’re done here, take your vehicle with you to your next destination, because no one wants to spend an extra $300 of vacation money picking up a vehicle from an impound lot.
