I almost forgot about my monthly recap of living in Gatlinburg. I’m going to say it’s a good thing this happened. Why? Well, normally I’m looking rather negatively with regards to my forgetfulness. It’s not enough for me to be concerned; it fuels my anger more than anything else. For example, I recently left the driver-side window halfway down overnight, so naturally…it rained. My wife was none too happy about the wet seat she had to sit in, and rightfully so. It was my mistake. Thankfully, I don’t forget most ordinary things I need to remember, like what time I’m going to work, setting my alarm, and general appointments. For you the reader, you can rejoice (hopefully) that I didn’t totally neglect writing about our seventh month living in Gatlinburg.

This has nothing to do with how our life is going past the half-year point, but it’s a direct result of my phone photo taking. I’m reaching the end stage of my 15 gigabytes of free space on my Google account. It’s getting extremely more difficult to delete photos, which are more than 95% from our years of Gatlinburg visits. Throw in the fact I’m taking at least 3-5 pictures in town, daily, it’s nearly impossible to keep going without having to pay a small monthly fee to increase my storage to 100 GB—a large amount. But, I digress.
