A Day in The Gatlinburg Life: March 21, 2024
I didn’t have the idea that it would be a special day worth writing about on Thursday, March 21st, but you don’t necessarily plan these things. You see, my son and I had the day off work, and while the only concrete plan was our haircuts in the morning, we had a rough idea of how we wanted to spend the rest of our day in Gatlinburg. There are a few things I’ll leave out towards the end for reasons he and I (and my wife) will only know. However, I’m going to detail most of what else transpired.
Our haircuts that morning turned out fine, just like most other routine appointments. After our hair-thinning we stopped at Bloom & Berry Coffee House—a really excellent indulgence in caffeine and breakfast treats like muffins, bagels, and danishes. While the treats were tempting, coffee is life, so I’m never not stopping at a coffee house without that shot of dark delight. Now we can move on to more general plans for the day.
