Pizza in Gatlinburg is an underrated food option for tourists and locals. I’ve heard many people around here bemoan the quality of the pizza being made here, but I guess that depends on where you’re from. Wisconsin? Sure, I’ll give you that, but that’s only the cheese. From my neck of the woods, I am more than pleased with what I can sink my teeth into in this town. Most people know the obvious spots to go buy a great pie; however, I’ve discovered a few places—most I haven’t tried—who also serve pizza. And you may be surprised at a few on this list that have it on the menu. Let’s go!
1. Three Jimmy’s
Three Jimmy’s is located at the beginning of the Arts and Crafts Community on Glades Road. They serve up delicious southern comfort foods, and also, yes, World Class Artisan Pizzas! I know it’s a little weird seeing pizza on a menu alongside ribs, brisket, and pulled pork, but here we are. They have seven different specialty options, with a toppings list of no less than 17. I’ve heard they are delicious, so I’m looking forward to trying one sometime!
2. Cumberland Jack’s
Cumberland Jack’s is located across the road from Calhoun’s, and used to be the home of the popular Texas Roadhouse chain restaurant This one was a decidedly Southern restaurant when it opened in 2022, but they have altered the menu to satisfy the taste buds of a much broader audience. While they don’t have pizza PIES, so to speak, flatbread is their related method. One look at their menu and you’ll understand, because they serve just about every different style of American fare here.
3. Shamrock Pub
I wouldn’t say Shamrock Pub is a true Irish tavern, but it’s somewhat surprising they do offer the Italian cuisine. They keep it pretty basic here: a 9 and 12 inch two topping pizza are your options. I don’t think they have a ton of ingredients, so don’t expect gourmet-style. Extra toppings are…a few dollars extra. Located at the corner of Reagan Drive just before the Ripley’s Odditorium, this place has multiple levels for drinking, dining, karaoke, and live musicians. I haven’t heard many reviews about the pizza at Shamrock’s. Let me know in the comments if you approve or not!
4. Mountain Edge Grill
Mountain Edge Grill has been a staple of Gatlinburg for many years. Its location right across The Village and on the second level of Baskins Square certainly helps. It is their burgers that seem to get all the attention, but did you know they also serve gourmet personal pan pizzas? Yes, while not extensive, MEG offers your basic, widespread favorites such as cheese, meat, veggies, and supreme. These have catered to pizza lovers for years, and it’s what every pizzeria should have on its menu. Do yourself a favor—myself included—and try out their carbohydrate delights!
5. Glenstone Lodge
The last one on my list might throw you off a bit. You mean the old Glenstone Lodge serves pizza? Well, yes and no. A new eatery opened in this decades-long hotel mainstay in Gatlinburg called Mountain Trail Grill and Pizza. They are only open for dinner hours, (5-11) but they have an impressively creative selection of specialty pies that are making my mouth water just by reading the list, which you can find here!
Ugh, there are so many different pizzas I have yet to discover to Gatlinburg. Finding out these unsuspecting places also serve it up, makes it even more tempting…and daunting. When I sample the untasted pies, I will be happy to spread the word. Of course, some of you who already know about them can fill me in with the details. Thank you all for reading and subscribing, and I hope you enjoyed reading my latest post from the beautiful tourist town of Gatlinburg!

It is truly the BEST pizza I’ve ever eaten!
Hello! Two friends and I will be coming to Gatlinburg for a weeklong vacation in mid June. None of us have been there before, and I am wondering about restaurant fare. I have celiac disease and must avoid gluten. Do you know if any of these pizza places offer gluten-free crust? Of all the restaurants you have enjoyed, do you notice if the menus feature gluten-free items?
